I want to thank Talbots for sponsoring this post.
As you know, we are highly selective with who we partner with, but Talbots is a no-brainer.
We’ve long recommended the brand in dozens of unsponsored articles, so I was delighted to work with them to share some stand-out pieces from their new arrivals.
I’ve said it a million times, but it bears repeating, Talbots is an incredible resource.
From their classic style to their size-inclusive selection (which should be an industry standard), it’s no wonder they are a reader-favorite brand.
So let’s make some outfits because they do festive holiday pieces well, and if you’re like me, you might need a couple of new things to get you through the season.
Some of these pieces were gifted, and some I bought myself. ?
Cozy at Home
This year, the holidays feel accelerated. Our neighborhood was lit up earlier than ever, and trees and decorations sold out quickly.
And it took me days to finish decorating, with multiple trips to our local garden center between work meetings and deadlines.
Last week, I wore this cozy outfit while putting the final touches on the house.
I already had the sweater and jeans, both from Talbots.
The sweater is soft and warm without being scratchy. (I originally featured this here.)
The jeans are true skinnies, with fantastic stretch, in a dark wash.
I’m wearing a size 10. For reference, I’m 5’10, and their standard length is perfect for me.
Talbots was kind enough to gift me these lace-up suede boots, and I LOVE them. The neutral goes with so many basics I already have; they are warm and very comfortable.
I’m wearing a 10, my true size.
Perfect for Hosting
Long-time readers know I love an embellished sweater this time of year.
Both have stretch so that I can move around comfortably, and the sweater is light but will keep you warm.
Velveteen Blazer, $189 gifted
Finally, this is a great look for an office party or dinner and drinks after a holiday concert.
We’ve been talking about velvet blazers for the last few weeks, and I love this one in a gorgeous, deep indigo color.
Here, I’m keeping it simple, wearing it with a black column of color. Yes, you can wear black a navy together; it’s super chic.
